Specialist Access & Independent Workup

• BioConnetiX connects your client to a credentialed neurologist or other licensed provider in their state.
• If no pathway-trained provider is available, we source and train one.
• The telehealth visit includes a neurologic assessment and independent workup to determine whether TBI biomarker testing is clinically necessary.

Medical Records Management

• BioConnetiX obtains progress notes from the ordering provider - to include assessment and treatment plan, as well as laboratory test results and other medical records within the pathway services coverage plan.
• Attorneys are provided single-source access access to a complete, HIPAA-compliant medical records folder of records in the managed TBI pathway

Phlebotomy & Laboratory Testing

• We will schedule the patient's blood draw with a licensed phlebotomist - and can also arrange office-based and home-based services.
• Testing is conducted through our contracted clinical laboratory, and results are delivered to the ordering provider by the laboratory.
• Attorneys receive a copy of the results through a secure, predefined HIPAA-compliant portal (or direct API).

Follow-Up Testing Guidance

• A trained molecular pathologist prepares a recommended follow-up testing schedule for positive cases.
• This guidance is provided to the ordering provider to support continuity of care.
• We provide e-Consult access to specialists, ensuring local providers can quickly obtain expert input and eliminate any potential gaps in care.

Ongoing Training - TBI Pathway & Clinical Documentation

• BioConnetiX trains all neurologists in our TBI care team network on both the science underlying the TBI test and best practices for clinical note documentation in personal injury cases, drawing on NBI seminars and similar programs. We also conduct independent reviews of documentation and provide targeted follow-on training as needed to ensure accuracy, consistency, and defensibility.
