A Carve-Out Model for Smarter Care
BioConnetiX operates much like a managed care organization (MCO) – we manage both the financing and delivery of healthcare services.
The difference is focus: we concentrate exclusively on specific clinical pathways, allowing us to achieve precision, efficiency, and measurable results.
Specialized Carve-Out Vendor
We contract with insurers and law firms as a carve-out vendor to manage designated health conditions. For each pathway, BioConnetiX assumes responsibility for financing and care delivery, receiving payments through flat-rate service agreements, per-member fees or other value-based arrangements.
Network Development
Our team builds and manages a specialty provider network tailored to each condition we address. This network includes Medical Directors who ensure physician-led pathway compliance; a telehealth-based physician network for pathway-guided clinical workup, care planning, and ongoing monitoring; and clinical laboratories with testing validated to meet pathway protocols.
Coordinated Care for Complex Populations
We oversee every step of the pathway to ensure seamless coordination across providers. By aligning clinical care with financial accountability, BioConnetiX both controls costs and improves outcomes for the populations we manage.
